Just wanted to comment on Bradat's answer:I know someone in the Canadian Forces as well that transitioned in the service. However, you pretty much have to be into it (the service) for a career (20 years) in order for them to approve of your transition. Also, the person I know had to put up with a LOT of harassment from other service members.
Hopefully Jay will chime in on the Canadian system (he's from Canada). Sorry, I don't know too much about it myself.

Treatment centers: Pine Lodge past Regina - Calder (Saskatoon) - Agnes Campbell in Moose Jaw - Slim Thorpe in Lloydminister - THESE are all in Saskatchewan - Pine Lodge is the toughest because I experienced it for a month - no cost to me - but here you have to get a referal from Addiction Services - all these centers should be on the web - good luck!!Erika Said:
