What do you think about funding regional transportation projects with small increases sales tax?

We Answered:

It's a good use of the sales tax, subsidized public transportation especially in large cities is okay for several reasons: It takes some cars off the streets thus helping the congestion problems, it provides a means for the public to get back and forth from their employment, it's a way for people to get out and about to visit any number of areas. It provides jobs for bus personnel.

Many of these examples enables people using public transport get out and spread money around which helps the city's economy because they get a lot of the sales tax back in the form of increased business.
