Maurice Said:

Why is the government cutting out on creative classes in public schools?

We Answered:

They are always the first thing to go when there is no money. It is unfortunate but true. There is a priority on the basic college prep subjects like math, science, english, and social studies and everything else gets cut out when they lack funding. You find more successful students in areas with money than you do in poor areas.

Gene Said:

We Answered:

I've been to both private and public schools, and to be honest with you public gave me a much better education. Try to get him into AP courses or a special program in the public schools.

What really got to me then and now, was the state of the rail system in this nation compared to others in the world. We have rails collapsing, their bridges falling, not enough trains to run daily and then, being inconvenient, nobody will ride the trains.
Hey Mr. President . . . oh forget it.
Hey Candidates? this neglect has gone on under both duopolic parties- what are you going to do about this or shall we find a new party?

Upper class Schools, better funded/more enrichment opportunities than lower class schools?

We Answered:

Check the schools for famous graduates, alumni, compare the numbers between the schools, also compare their dropout rates, their budgets, their SAT scores, and who goes to what colleges and does what afterwards.

You may have to search the county websites or city websites and school websites or call and ask for the info - but if you tell them you're a student doing a sociological project and want to do a report on the school's stats because you think it's a good example of success or you went there, whichever, you should be able to get the info.

hope that helps!
