Here are some things I found (I have the Senate proposal DL to my computer):Once the bill is signed into law, you will not be able to get coverage from ANY "private" insurance companies unless they designate it a "qualified" plan? The company has to be "certified" by the gov't. as approved, has to offer the plans the gov't. has devised, be regulated by the federal gov't. and the Gateway, and has to agree to comply with all surcharges. These Gateways can also offer bare minimums of coverage, regardless of what any laws might say regarding required coverage. And you are going to be issued "credits." Once they are used up for the year, then what? Gateways (which all insurance companies will be REQUIRED to go through) cannot contract with any hospital with more than 50 beds, will not offer any plan not "qualified..."
You will be paying a premium based on your adjustable gross income and family size. For example, if you make $90,000.00 a year (500% beyond the poverty line, which is $18,310.00 for a family of three), you could pay up to 10% of your income. That's almost $10,000.00 A YEAR for health insurance! And contrary to what you may have heard, Federal Employees are NOT eligible for coverage.

Pages 118-119: It is REQUIRED that you have health coverage at all times and if you don't, you will be fined. (Fine amount is not determined yet.)

ARNOLD: You are absolutely right. I have not had ONE debate with a supporter of this bill who has actually read it. Not one. And no matter what you post, they still say it is lies or that you got it from a "chain email." It's really stupid because if they actually read what I've written, they'd see it's never been in a chain email.
It doesn't matter. I know the truth. It's just sad that they are so scared that they refuse to even attempt to be reasonable.

the home depots in phoenix az have a contract with a security company that removes them from their property, the local police allow them to congregate on the sidewalks leading into the store. we have a new law going into effect criminalizing day laborers who solicit jobs from the street and if caught they will be detained and in most cases deported . the person who stops to offer work to the day laborers ,if caught they will be cited and fined. we also have new a law that makes it a felony if you are an illegal and trespassing in arizona and if captured, you will be detained and then deported.
